Axiom Guardian — Quick Start Preview
Axiom Guardian is coming soon and is not available for purchase or download. This preview describes the workflow currently in development and testing; final instructions may change before release.
Guardian is designed to monitor account-level risk rules and respond after account activity is observed. When enforcement is armed, it can request cancellation of working orders and position flattening, and apply a software lock until the configured expiry. It does not block orders before submission or guarantee that losses stop at a threshold.
Planned requirements
The planned minimum is NinjaTrader Desktop 8.1.5.0 or later on Windows. Final compatibility and installation instructions will be confirmed at release. There is no customer package to purchase or download yet.
Preview of the setup workflow
Guardian's dashboard opens from the NinjaTrader Control Center. The planned workflow is to configure a preset, assign it to an account, and review its behavior in shadow mode before considering armed enforcement.

Configure a preset
- Open the Presets tab and review the starting preset.
- In the Rules tab, configure the limits you use, such as daily max loss, give-back from peak, profit target, trade count, and position size.
- Choose a response for each rule: Flatten & lock requests flattening and applies a software lock, Flatten requests flattening without a day lock, and Alert only reports the condition.
- In the Accounts tab, assign the preset to the intended account. Unassigned accounts remain observe-only.
The default daily rollover is 17:00 US Central. Review the preset's session clock so it matches the trading day you intend to monitor.
Review shadow mode before arming
With Arm enforcement off, Guardian evaluates rules and records alerts without requesting order cancellation or position flattening. The Audit tab is intended to help you review those events and adjust your rules.
Armed enforcement adds the configured cancellation, flattening and software-lock responses. It depends on a running, connected NinjaTrader platform and broker execution. Orders can fill before enforcement completes; delays, slippage and losses beyond a configured limit remain possible.
The planned release is designed to retain hard software locks through a NinjaTrader restart until their configured expiry. This is a product preview, not confirmation that a customer release is available.
Before release
Review the product page for availability and final requirements. Purchase, activation, download and installation instructions will be provided when Guardian is released.
